Submissions Are Open ~ Accepting in a Wide Range of Genres ~ Focusing on Steam/Diesle/and Cyber Punk for January

Hello fans! So glad you stopped by today. We will be hosting a mini series in January on Tuesdays and Fridays, now thru January 23, featuring open submissions, and select items that will be for sale at the upcoming Steampunk and Industrial Event coming up Jan 24-25 at Renniger's Market located in Mount Dora, Florida.

All steampunk items that you will find at the event are handcrafted originals - are unique - and have been created from the magical minds of our CEO Janet Beasley and her hubby. So get ready to feast your eyes upon some amazing cos-play items and creations from this highly imaginative duo.

Sassy Brassy
Today's featured item is a cosplay gun that holds the name Sassy Brassy. It is obvious how this little beauty got its name. Highlighted with buckles, chain, and gears this piece is sure to top off any outfit that fits the motif. Sassy Brassy is a uniquely designed adult "toy" that was designed to stop others in their tracks and ask, "Where did you get that sassy little brassy pistol?" BeaslePunk cosplay guns are not for children. Each BeaslePunk gun has been sanded down to remove any "unwanted" logos. Guns have been primered, painted, and accents added to the paint. Using a high end crafting glue, items have been strategically placed to give an authentic look. BeaslePunk cos-play guns are not crafted to be "fired," but rather worn and carried as specialty accessories to heavily accent cos-play attire. Each piece is hand-crafted and takes several days to imagine, paint, create, and journey to a finished product.

Submissions are open for a wide range of genres at JLB Creatives Publishing. Staying in theme with the upcoming event we are focusing on steam/diesel/and cyber punk novels - meaning we will be putting steampunk submissions at the top of our list for consideration of publication throughout January. If you are a steampunk author there are two ways to deliver your writing talent to us: You may visit the BeaslePunk booth at the Steampunk and Industrial Event and pitch your story, or if you can't make it to the event you're invited to make a submission directly from our website. 28 Months of Heaven and Hell available in Ebook!

28 Months of Heaven and Hell by JD Karnes is a WWII historical fiction novel based on the diaries of Carl Young who served abored the escort vessel DE-416 USS Melvin R.Nawman.  Experience everything from the great typhoon of 1944 to Iwo Jima and Okinawa, and from the atom bomb to the signing of the treaty that ended the Second World War. It is an emotional roller coaster ride between the onboard action and the family back home. The realism of not only the war but also the era has been captured with expertise.

In real life Carl's younger brother, Charles, longed to hear his big brother's WWII story. When Carl returned from the war he promised his little brother that someday he would tell him all about it. That day came recently when Charles began receiving journal entries from Carl via emails, totaling 168. Both Carl and Charles are excited to have their story turned into a historic novel. Both brothers are still living; they share the dream of holding a published copy of Carl's story in their hands before being called to Heaven. Carl resides in Arizona, and Charles resides in Florida.
